Callaway on wheels

This past weekend my mom rode in the MS150. I am always inspired by my mom because she really pushes herself and once she sets her mind on something she just does it. This weekend it was the MS150 bike race and a hot weekend it was. She rode with her company team, Team North highland, and while some of her team did the full 105 miles the first day and then 50 miles the next, mom just did 39 miles on day 1. Which is a big contribution in my opinion. I wanted to make sure we were there for her at the finish line and so there we stood. She did great and had a strong finish. Then after the race, a shower and a short nap, mom and I explored Callaway while Bobby watched the Georgia game. We went to the butterfly garden, the chapel and a few other cute places on the Garden grounds. It was a nice mother/daughter day for sure. Then the 3 of us has dinner at the Lodge and mom headed home and Bobby and I enjoyed the evening and Sunday at Callaway. It was a very relaxing weekend to say the least.
