My sweet grandmother passed Sunday, August 8th @ 4:45 am. My loving father was there with her at the time and had been by her bed side since the previous Monday when she got really sick again. He really loved her and wanted to make sure she wasn't alone when she passed. We moved her to Hospice last Tuesday and were really just waiting for her to be at peace. Hospice while a wonderful facility is really a terrible place at the same time. Once you are in hospice and if you are unable to feed yourself you do not get any more water or food. Grandma was clearly scared and not sure what was going on, but she is in a much much better place now. I loved her dearly and wish she could have been at our wedding, but I know she and grandpa are loving life together in heaven. And she met Bobby last summer and really liked him, she even told me he was the best person I've dated and that I should keep him around. She was a smart, smart lady.
